Is Civilization coming to an end? A once preposterous notion becomes more and more likely as wars rage on, gas and food prices rise, climate change evolves, and world economies shudder. This site will bring together a wide array of voices from both the mainstream media and the fringes of the web, and lots of places in-between with the hope of helping you come to your own conclusions about what is really up with the world.

It is my conviction that no one person has the answer to all the world’s problems or its solutions, and the only thing that is certain is uncertainty. Any inclusion of a link or embedded content on this site does not necessarily reflect my own personal views, unless explicitly noted. I consume a fairly wide range of media which is an awesome privilege I do not take for granted, and my strongest conviction is that we should challenge our own worldviews as much as possible to develop compassion, empathy, and understanding for those with ideas different from our own. We should embrace the free exchange of ideas to confront basic human problems and make every effort to build community and cooperation in the challenging times ahead.
